The audio piece that I created is based on a personal experience. I got inspired by the Eye to Eye sculpture to write about my experience. The closeness of the material in the sculpture made me think how misunderstandings prevent people from being close to each other, and how it doesn’t allow them to see each other eye to eye.

After the last 4 weeks of taking this class. I can finally say that audio is fun to use when the artist has an idea on how to use the sounds and effects to create a piece. Adding sounds and effects makes the audio interesting to hear and also sends a clear image to the listeners. I didn’t use sounds effects in particular but I used tools of audacity to lower one voice out of the two voices in my piece. This made the two voices sound different. I learned that it takes great amount of work to present a particular story and message using audio because the audience is going to have different interpretations of what the story is about and what the artist wants to get across.
