Shirin Neshat, Untitled (from Rapture), 1999. Gelatin silver print, 44 3/8 x 68 3/4 inches (112.7 x 174.6 cm). Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York, Gift, The Bohen Foundation 2001.233
I am really intrigued by the Shirin Neshat's work. I like how the picture shows all of the men unified in one group. Their white shirts give them a light color that really stands out to me. The background is great because of all the turbulence from the water. You can see waves crashing and it gives off a chaotic feel. But then you have these men still intact as one group. It gives me the sense of calm and collection before the storm.
