The duality I chose to explore is stillness and movement. I picked this duality because my inspiration was Keith Haring’s artwork. It is very unbelievable how complex his artwork is but there is so much movement that attracts the human eye. The simple symbols and colors he uses speaks out to the viewers. I used simplicity with the elements of design to create animation. The shape I used throughout was a circle. It is a common shape that reminds us of objects and movement around us. I captured stillness throughout my duality by the circles remaining constant in motion and size. To represent movement I let the circles move around the screen, the size of the circle increased and decreased, also the circle transformed in various impacts, speed, and rhyme.
