Day/Night - I picked this duality because night and day are two very different concepts that can be clearly represented by symbols, such as a sun and a moon. I used a skyline of Manhattan as my stationary symbol because that is where I am from and Manhattan is a huge part of my life. I created a rising sun to represent the duration of day and a rising moon to represent the duration of night.
