The piece of artwork that we chose was The History of the Main Complaint by William Kentridge. The reason why we chose this piece specifically was because it deals with politics, life, and death, and the art work was very technical and the amount of time he spent on each project. The name of our piece is The Awakening. It reflects on the life and death situations and the way people deal with it. This is mainly an interpretation of what is believed to happen while dying and after death.
